TEXSOM 2021
Since 2005, TEXSOM has been the Texas sommeliers' conference that promotes professional wine service standards, encourages greater beverage education and certification, What began as an opportunity for Texas sommeliers to learn and train, became an international event for beverage professionals from all levels of the industry to network and grow.
Uruguay Wine was once again present together with the Uruguayan wineries: Establecimiento Juanicó, Viña Progeso, Pizzorno, De Lucca, Garzón, Cerro Chapeu, El Capricho, Antigua Bodega, Montes Toscanini, Bouza, Marichal, Basta and Cerro del Toro.
On Sunday 14, Monday 15 and Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas, the conference was held where Uruguayan wines were presented and tasted in different event formats: Lunch for 80 people where Amanda Barnes ( writer and journalist dedicated to the world of wine) made a presentation of Uruguay; also events in Networking lounge and Grand tasting formats.
During the development of the conference, the wineries presented their wines, their establishments and established contacts and work networks for future commercial agreements in the destination.
